Open Gardens Event Sunday 9th June 2 to 5pmOPEN GARDENS AT SHERFORD THIS JUNE On Sunday 9th June, between 2-5pm, the Friends of Sherford Country Park will be holding an open garden event. This community event will also feature a plant sale and alfresco cream tea. For Sherford residents, there are several ways to get involved: Open your garden up! Donate plants that you have grown for the plant sale; Bake a cake or help in the tea room The Friends of Sherford Country Park say of the event, "This is not a competition. It is a chance for us as a community to learn from one another, especially the new people moving in. For them to see what grows well and what does not and to be encouraged to create a garden in their new homes. The result will be a rich diverse environment to pass on to future generations."
