Making the Most of our Green Spaces: Fresh approaches to caring for and stewarding land.

Join us for the second of our emerging series of evening heritage talks from Sherford Community Trust.

Sherford Vale School Hall

While the “Making the Most Of…” events aim to inform and spark debate about important future issues for the town, they are equally social occasions designed to build connections and strengthen community in Sherford.

At this latest event we invite you to be inspired by past, current, and innovative models of shared ownership and land management in Devon, as we explore the possibilities for the future stewardship of the country park. Creating benefit for people and nature.

Our guest speakers include Rob Haward: Riverford Organic Farmers, CEO and a representative from National Trust Plymouth Portfolio TBC.

Alongside the speakers and discussion, there will be a further round of voting on the proposed names for the next set of emerging green spaces, as well as information stalls and refreshments.
