Sherford Youth and Kids (SKY)

This is a community-led youth project run by Sherford Community Church. Drawing on the church’s extensive experience of youth work, SKY runs a weekly Youth Hangout for secondary school-aged young people every Wednesday during term time from 7pm–8pm, based near the play park and skate ramps in Sherford.

Sessions are led by a fantastic team of DBS-checked volunteers from the church and wider community. Young people decide what they want to do in sessions, with games, activities, conversation and plenty of snacks creating a fun, welcoming and inclusive environment.
