Grant Support

Supporting great ideas that bring our community to life

Sherford Community Land Trust is proud to offer a Grant Support Scheme that helps turn local ideas into real community benefits. Funded by residents’ annual contributions, this scheme is here to support activities, events, and projects that bring people together, improve our neighbourhood, and make Sherford an even better place to live.

What’s it for?

If you have a great idea that benefits others in Sherford—whether it’s an event, workshop, group activity, or a small improvement to a shared space—you can apply for grant support of between £50 and £1000.

We especially welcome projects that:

  • Bring people together and benefit the wider community

  • Support one or more of the Trust’s key aims—like promoting sustainability, inclusion, or wellbeing

  • Show some support or involvement from residents, either through time, effort, or a small financial contribution

 Special projects

If your idea doesn’t tick all the usual boxes but still has great potential, don’t worry—we’d still love to hear about it. While we can’t fund ongoing running costs or reimburse money already spent without agreement, we’re open to special proposals that show real community value.
