The Trust is a big part of everyday life in Sherford. We run the Sherford Community Hub—a welcoming space that’s home to the local food hub and a range of community groups, clubs, and activities. We also offer small grants through an open application process, giving residents and local organisations the support they need to turn great ideas into community projects.

At the heart of everything we do is our Community Panel—a team of passionate resident volunteers who help shape the Trust’s direction and support its work. They lead four working groups focused on Communications, Events, Shops & Amenities, Young People, and Environment & Heritage.

Thanks to their efforts, we’ve hosted Christmas and Farmers markets, run heritage workshops, secured external funding, and launched a regular community newsletter—all helping to bring Sherford to life.

There are lots of ways you too can get involved with Sherford Community Trust! Whether it’s becoming a member, joining a working group, helping at events, starting your own community project, or applying for grant funding—we’d love to have you on board. However you choose to take part, you’ll be helping make Sherford an even better place to live.
