Sherford Country Park: Making the most of our green spaces.

  • Sherford Vale Primary School Plymouth, England, PL9 8FA United Kingdom (map)

Fresh approaches to caring for and stewarding land.

Be inspired by innovative and current approaches to the shared ownership and management of land and public green space in Devon. Join us as we explore the future stewardship of Sherford Country Park and how it can create lasting benefits for both the community and nature.

Hosted by Sherford Community Land Trust, this event will feature guest speakers:

  • Rob Haward, CEO, Riverford Organic Farmers

  • Tif Dickinson, Senior Community Participation & Volunteering Manager, and Federico Ghittoni, Lead Ranger, Saltram House (National Trust)

Alongside the talks and discussion, there will be a further round of voting on proposed names for the next set of new green spaces in Sherford, as well as information stalls.

The event is free to attend, and refreshments will be provided.

The Sherford “Making the Most Of…” event series aims to inform and spark debate about important aspects of the town’s development. It is also a great social occasion, bringing people together and helping to build a strong community for the future.
